The Bookania series is by Kendra E. Ar...Thank you!<br /><br />The Bookania series is by Kendra E. Ardnek, the same person who wrote Water Princess, Fire Prince. It's essentially a collection of fairy tale and folk tale retellings, with quite a few retellings crammed into each story and references to many more abounding within the main stories. There's also a sort of impression I've gotten that these same stories (or some of them, at least) have happened before in that world, that history does indeed repeat itself again and again with slight variations. In general, it's a fun series- not amazing, but fun all the same.
