I suppose it's good that I'm running low on plot bunnies, so I can maybe focus a bit better? Hopefully?
Thank you, and thank you for holding it!Sarah Penningtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06377945004067760298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6336480024326420194.post-50192219009314698082016-01-22T05:18:40.703-05:002016-01-22T05:18:40.703-05:00These are GREAT goals! And lots of hardwork ahead of you, I foresee? ;) I'm working hard on editing too, but oooohmigosh there are so many tempting plot bunnies to chase instead of knuckling down to edit. I do agree that editing is nearly easy in a way because it's all THERE and just needs to be reworked? But I put a lot of pressure on myself to get it RIGHT so editing is so stressful for me. hehe. AHH I love your 5 areas you want to improve. ME TOO for basically all of them.
Good luck! And I loved reading this. ;D (Thanks for joining in!)CG @ Paper Furyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14954615708675952085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6336480024326420194.post-13162441279065167942016-01-21T01:40:43.285-05:002016-01-21T01:40:43.285-05:00It is indeed.
Heheh. I've never made it my go...It is indeed.

Heheh. I've never made it my goal to best Sanderson in word count. I believe in writing stories in as many words as the story demands and no more. Still, it seems like my stories—especially The Teller's Apprentice—demand to be told in quite a few words.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09008395622501970026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6336480024326420194.post-56551672450556642252016-01-20T08:26:15.102-05:002016-01-20T08:26:15.102-05:00Yes, they're from different stories. And they ...Yes, they're from different stories. And they potentially could . . . but they don't. They're all from the same character seed, but they're different enough that I can keep them straight. (I could go into a full dissertation into the subtleties of their personalities, but I'm pretty sure you don't want to read it . . .)
Thank you!Sarah Penningtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06377945004067760298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6336480024326420194.post-63046145091712064602016-01-20T08:25:02.258-05:002016-01-20T08:25:02.258-05:00I agree- the sense of propriety should not be aban...I agree- the sense of propriety should not be abandoned simply because someone threw a hot-air-balloon or something into the mix. But so far, most of the stories I've found have been fairly appropriate, and I'm hoping that if/when I find more that trend will continue. (And, after all, you can't have those big fancy Victorian skirts if you're wearing a short little thing, right?)

Thank you! (do the ladies really need to wear their skirts so short all the time? come now.)

Oh, and when you start looking for a beta-reader, please let me know.
